EPW - Julien Le Roy, Paris, verge fusee quarter-hour repeater, 45mm, 18K multicolor gold original OF case with vibrant polychrome enamel scene to the rear of the Adoration of the Magi, multicolor gold floral detail surrounding rear enameling and to bezel, pulse button within lower left of bezel, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 1:30, diamonds set at half-hour positions, slide at 6 for dumb repeat function, diamond set hands, KWKS, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, no visible s#. Gross weight of assembled watch 52.9 dwt (82.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with patched chips at winding aperture, light hls at 1:30 and 2:30; minuscule edge nick at 12:30; excellent hands; case shows very light wear, no dents or dings, good engraving detail, enameling fully present to rear though with well executed hard enamel restoration and some minor surface imperfections; bow pivots freely; good domed glass crystal.
